A Summer visit to Lake of the Ozarks will give you plenty of water activities to choose from. The mobs of people often found at every store in the summer months are long gone, giving you access to incredible closeout deals at every store in the mall to take advantage of.

There are two other mall properties located at Lake of the Ozarks. One is just west of the Glaize bridge known as Poverty Flats, the other is the Stone Crest Mall just north of the Hwy 42 & Hwy 54 Intersection.

Poverty Flats offers several boutique shops that each offer something truly unique. My wife is well known at Chestnut Ridge a boutique that offers Brighton jewelry. Blairs Landing is the oldest shop in Poverty Flats offering a wide variety of the most current fashions with wonderful staff always willing to help you with your purchases. While you are shopping allow your husband to take in a round of Golf at one of the Lake of the Ozarks fourteen beautiful golf courses surrounding the entire lake. No boat no problem there are dozens of places to rent a fishing boat, pontoon boat, ski boat or pleasure boat in Osage Beach, Lake Ozark and Sunrise Beach alone. The Bagnell Dam Strip plays host to numerous new restaurants such as Sergios a Mexican style cafeteria with the most amazing interior of any building at the lake and right next door another wonderful addition to the strip Tucker’s Shuckers an oyster bar with a full menu and an equally impressive décor. Tucker’s Shuckers also offers entertainment several nights a week as do several other strip venues such as Alley Cats Pizza, Blondie’s Burger Bar, Casablanca and the newest addition Marty Byrde’s named after Jason Bateman star of the hit TV series “Ozark” partly filmed on location of the historic Bagnell Dam Strip!

Recent reinvestment in the Bagnell Dam Strip has shown the old anchor of the lake is still going strong. The future of the Strip has never looked better with revitalization efforts that are sure to bring generations of visitors memories of a lifetime.
